I remember Bonnie Raitt from early in my childhood. Pretty sure my mom liked some of her stuff in the 80s. Then, in 1998 (I think,) I went to Lilith Fair with some friends and saw her perform. I was amazed. What really got me was the way she could play the guitar. So. Good. The two things I remember most about that concert: (1) Bonnie Raitt is amazing and (2) Tracy Chapman and Natalie Merchant did a cover of In the Ghetto that gives me goosebumps to this day.
