Once I started drawing origami animals, I just couldn't stop. I've always been a fan of the majestic elephant, so it only seemed right that I draw one.  A few reasons I'm a fan of this prodigious pachyderm:

1. I was informed on more than one occasion that my power animal is an elephant. (Visit the enchanted forest to meet yours.)

2. Rachael Yamagata wrote a song entitled, Elephants. I love it and I love her.

3. Elephants purr like cats. Since I love my cat, I feel it's only logical that I also love another animal that shares a form of communication with my feline friend. (Hmm, I wonder if an elephant would understand a cat's purrs. Probably not, but interesting to ponder, nonetheless.)
